BFF at the Bike Film Festival

The Bike Film Festival was today on East 2nd Street in the East Village. There were lots of vendors, a few bike builders, people doing tricks, and more bikes than I think I have ever seen on one city block. It was awesome. For me the highlights were seeing Horse Cycles Thomas Callahan and watching the pros make their bikes fly. Oh, and I think there were some films playing somewhere too... I missed that part. Here are some photos of what I did see:

Cool Bikes On The Street

As promised, Cool Bikes On The Street will be a series of posts and here is the second!

I saw this bike on Avenue A just south of 9th Street on Monday. Being the owner of a bike with a neon paint job I think I must have a soft spot for other neon bikes. And this one certainly is bright - in fact it matches the New York U lock on it!

Other things that I love about this bike: the impossibly attached slim fender, the hunter green bags on the handlebar and Brook's saddle, and the gold bling bell. And is that a Suntour Suberbe Pro hub in the back? Love it.

Point out any other awesome details that I might have missed in the comments section.
