Since landing twenty-four hours ago, we have visited Wal-Mart twice and I have done two new things. The first: I ate something I've never eaten - or even considered - before. This is a deep fried pickle. It was really good.

The second: I crossed the top of an open vertical lift bridge, quite sure death was near, two times, and I have now reached my lifetime quota for that.
